Service Description

This training is the ideal starting point to becoming adept at utilizing force to stop violence. This course can give anyone the tools to be functional at creating injury when absolutely needed. This "one-time course" is meant to train an individual once and send them on their way knowing the information presented can be used immediately. You'll leave this workshop with the knowledge, experience and skill that will serve you in the most important of times...when your life depends on it. The Saturday workshop is approximately 3-4 hours of hands-on and extensive instruction including the following: - Defining types of violence and what to truly be concerned about - Legalities of a "self-defense situation" - Understanding how injury truly works - Injury Mapping to the human body - Learning how the body reacts to injury - Understanding Free Practice, how it works and how to make training successful - Engaging in Free Practice live with others - AND MUCH MORE!


Cancellation Policy

1. Requests are made via online booking, or email and direct messaging if available. 2. Sessions must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance. 3. Clients must cancel at least 24 hours before the start time. 4. Late cancellations, no-shows or repeated cancellations may lead to restricted booking privileges. 5. Payment is due at time of booking online (if available) or prior to start of session (in person). 6. There is no negotiating the cost of the private lesson or workshop. 7. There are no refunds after services have been rendered. 8. In cases where a session is cancelled by the instructor, clients may receive a refund or credit. 9. Private lessons are one-on-one sessions scheduled outside of regular group class times, tailored to the individual skill level and goals. Client may invite one other person to attend the session. 10. Workshops are sessions involving multiple people scheduled outside of regular group class times. Subject matter is chosen by the host or the individual conducting the training. 11. Client(s) should arrive on time, with the appropriate attire and training gear. 12. It's the client's responsibility to inform the instructor on the topic of the private lesson and their training goal(s). Workshop topics are predetermined prior to the training date. 13. The client(s) must inform the instructor about injuries before the start of their session. 14. Clients must complete a waiver and release before their initial private lesson or prior to the beginning of the workshop. Waivers will be kept on file. 15. The instructor, and the training facility, are not liable for injuries resulting from client training or negligence (beyond standard duty of care). 16. Sessions may be recorded by the instructor for use in any manner. Client may record their private lesson with the express permission of the instructor. Any recorded lesson by the client may not be used, shared or posted on any social media or websites, or used on any blogs or vlogs, or used in any other media format, without the express permission of the instructor providing the training.
